About Us
We are a small team of language learning enthusiasts with a strong believe that the language learning of Asian languages can be strongly supported by modern language learning software that puts scientific research findings on learning techniques into practice.
Especially Asian languages with their unfamiliar sounds and letters are putting a great challenge towards the learner. Our goal is to demonstrate that also these languages are easy to learn with the right technique. Asian languages are generally easy on the grammar side but more heavy when it comes to sounds and letters. Therefore our product puts a great emphasis on these aspects together with a supportive multimedia framework.
From our own experience of learning Asian languages, we saw the lack of comprehensive software programs that not only give the learner the ability to adjust the program to his or her own needs but also to offer "offline" learning by e.g. being able to print out vocabulary cards and thus being able to also learn when away from the computer.
As a result we founded L-Ceps language learning. We chose the name L-Ceps as this embodies the philosophy of our product. "L" stands for "Learning" and "Ceps" is a basic Latin word element that means "head, leader and first".
With our products you can learn can learn Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin), Burmese, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Tagalog, Thai or Vietnamese. We are continuously adding new languages to our range of products.
