The Thai language is spoken by approximately 50 Million people -mostly in Thailand. The exact roots of the Thai alphabet is unclear but it is believed to come from southern India. Thai is a tonal language which means that there are five different tones used in Thai and sometimes the same words can have different meanings based on the tones. The Thai grammar is relatively easy as there are no cases, gendered nouns or verb conjugations.
